Chiropractic

In broad terms, chiropractic refers to the focused, gentle, and predictable manipulation of the spine and skeleton to relieve misaligned areas and reintroduce normal range of motion. Misaligned areas, or subluxations, can occur where one or more of the joint surfaces are not flexing properly. When this happens, the nerves coming from the spinal cord can become inflamed or pinched, resulting in pain and a decrease in function. Some of the symptoms that may appear include dragging one or more feet, excessive licking of an area, change in behaviour, fear biting, sensitivity to touch, expression of pain, lameness, and inflammation.
